I was wondering how to get one in Illinois, and how much it would cost.
I’m planning to buy fox in the spring or summer, and I’ve been researching for a year, so I want to know how to get ta license.

Actually, I don’t think you need a license; the law bans all “dangerous wildlife”, and foxes aren’t on that list…and I don’t think there are any other laws pertaining to animals that aren’t on that list.
If I’ve read wrong, and you’ve actually heard from somewhere else that you require a permit or license (I actually think you require a permit- but that’s just something where they come to where you’re going to keep the fox, and they evaluate if it fits the guidelines, and that costs $50 a year), then you’ll need to contact your local DNR or DOA (Department of natural resources and/or Dept. of Agriculture.) – they should be able to send you the permit application, and tell you if there are any other laws, and if there are, how to get the license for it. …I’m not sure how much this would cost though, because I don’t know exactly what it’s for.
    Good luck. =) Lisa R
