I’m starting school for an aviation science degree, and at the end I’ll have a commercial license with multi-engine and instructor ratings. I want to eventually get my commercial helicopter license too, but the school doesn’t have that. Will I need to start training all over again at a helicopter school, or will I be able to go right into commercial training? Is there an extensive ground school for this as well, or will I be able to concentrate on getting hours?

I want to get a Private flight license but the only thing i want to fly is a helicopter. While getting your license do you fly a plane, helicopter, or both? And if you fly only 1, are there different licenses for each?

What are the qualifications needed for getting a private pilot license? Example: How many hours, what types of tests, etc. What is the difference between a private pilot certificate and a private pilot license?

I’m 15. I want to get my license as soon as possible which would be when I turn 17. I turn 16 in January so I will be able to do my solo then. When should I start my training in order to get my license as soon as possible when I turn 17?

I am going into my junior year of high school and really want to get my pilots license. Is there any program or scholarship that would allow me to get my license for free. I have a 4.3 GPA if that helps. Thanks in advance.
In my high school if you take any honors classes it raises your GPA. So if I get all A’s and am in some honors then i get a 4.3.

I’m curious to the procedure of getting a pilot’s license (just to drive small personal planes not jets or anything like that). I’m 19 and have a valid driver license, but no other type of license for any other vehicle or machinery.

I am not sure what is happening for me. Lets say when I turn 17 I go to flight training at my local airport. Then I get my private pilot license. Now I will still be in high school, but before college how many licenses can I get.

Basically i would like to know is that as I get more and more (multi-engine, instrument, commercial, etc.) can I be in college at that time while doing so.

Eventually I’d like to get all the way through my commercial license, but for now I am going to start working on my private pilots license. I was wondering if there were any books or anything that I could start studying to help me out. Also if any pilots have any advice for me on flight school or anything related it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
